Born the son of a professional photographer, it’s in my blood. 

My dad started his first photography business in 1959, and opened the first of his three storefront studios in 1966. I worked in the studio from the time I was tall enough to reach up and dust the frames.

I learned all aspects of running a studio;  office management,  photographing portraits and events, sales, retouching and airbrushing.  I've done it all!

When his studio, Pace Photography, broke up in 1986, I opened my own photography studio on Long Island, The Ira Rosen Studio.  We quickly became one of the industries most respected names in event photography.

After enjoying 30+ fantastic years photographing portraits and high end events on Long Island I decided it was time to live a different life, a quieter life. I turned the business over to a talented and dedicated photographer who I knew would continue my traditions of beautiful photography and quality products.  

My love of photography will never fade and I'll continue to offer select services on a very limited basis;  Portraits, both family and professional, as well as commercial assignments.

Additionally, I will continue to offer my images for wall decor, and advertising.  

Last, for anybody interested in learning photography techniques I offer lessons in; posing individuals, couples and groups. Lighting techniques - both indoor and outdoor. Event photography, camera techniques, and digital artwork.
